'God's work with Our Hands' is the mission. Camp Restore Detroit is having a workday on Saturday, June 27 from 9:00-4:00 P.M. (rain date Saturday, July 11). We will meet in Mt. Calvary's parking lot. You may get involved in many ways: lawn cleanup, mowing, weed wacking, trash and debris removal, dorm room work, laying carpet tiles and plank flooring, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and demolition. What is needed: gas powered weed wackers, mowers, pruners and even a chain saw will be useful - work boots, gloves and sunscreen is suggested. We will be practicing safe protocols with masks and distancing as necessary. Individual and safely prepared sack lunches and water will be provided.
