We are saddened to report that long-time member Leona Varty has gone home to our Lord on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 2:00pm—8:00pm at SK Schultz (21705 Gratiot Avenue, Eastpoint, MI 48021 [corner of Toepfer & Gratiot]). She will lay in state at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 9:00am—10:00am. A memorial service will be at 10:00pm at Mt. Calvary and then a luncheon to follow in the basement auditorium where we may share the good times and wonderful memories we had of Leona. Our thoughts and prayers are with Leona’s family at this difficult time as she continues her journey with our Lord and Savior. Her obituary can be read here.
