Tuesday is the Council of Lutheran Women Luncheon at Burton Manor in Livonia. Plan to arrive by 11 a.m. so you can be seated and ready for the beginning at 11:15 a.m. You'll also want some time to browse the display tables in the hallway outside the banquet room, including the Lutheran Bookstore display. Ingathering donations are welcomed and will be collected by some willing students from Guardian Dearborn as you enter the Hall. If you have any of the items listed in the “Gifts for All God's Children” requests from last week's bulletin, you may bring them with you to the Luncheon as GFAGC will be in attendance. If you have any additional questions, please speak with Lucie.
The following retailers have just added some bonus offers - Chipotle (+2%), DSW (+2%), JCPenney (+1%), Shutterfly (+2.75%), and Hotels.com (+2%). Most are available for one week, some for two. See Lucie Witte for a current order form or to place an order. If you've not been a regular gift card shopper, keep in mind the profit earned from your orders will assist our confirmands in attending the summer Youth Gathering. Restaurant gift cards tend to give higher percentages, but gas stations or other retailers that you frequent are also good places to start.
“Gifts For All God’s Children” is asking for donations of items for the Easter baskets.
